Te Ohomairangi

Ministering the gospel through kapa haka.

Te Ohomairangi means ‘Awaken the Heavens’. The name was inspired by an instrument the Pūtātara also known as Ohomairangi. The Pūtātara is a Māori trumpet, in the Word the trumpet was blown to bring down the walls of Jericho so that the army of God could capture the city. Our purpose is to encourage and inspire our people with waiata and haka, releasing God’s presence into our community and breaking down walls of oppression.

JOSHUA 6:20

Practices are held during Sunday morning 9am services on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.
